"My love for shoes started in childhood, and as I grew older, I would daydream about beautiful designs as an escape. I didn't know that I would ever turn this daydream into my reality.

Sometimes, the one thing that excites you in childhood becomes the very thing you end up pursuing. I want to bring that excitement into the pairs that I create for our clients, together with my atelier. To make shoes for them and for them only".

It began with an idea—a burst of inspiration.

While living in London, Ruth often found herself daydreaming about beautiful fabrics, textures, and the way something as simple as a shoe could transform how you feel.

In 2018, she had just stepped into her dream role at Condé Nast, beginning at Glamour Magazine before moving into the international offices. It was there she noticed something consistent among her colleagues: a desire to look effortlessly chic, yet remain comfortable throughout the day.

That observation became the starting point of SHE OFFICIEL Atelier.

First launching with delicately crafted luxury trainers - combining superb comfort with ethereal fabrics and hand embroidery, to now introducing our beloved ballerina flats. From the very beginning, the intention was clear: to create luxury shoes that are comfortable, easy to wear, visually refined, and above all, versatile.

SHE OFFICIEL Atelier is shaped not only by Ruth’s vision, but by the hands of the artisans who bring each design to life.

Working from our atelier in Ukraine, every pair is crafted with care and intention. Our approach can be described as semi-couture—produced in small batches, allowing each order to carry a sense of individuality and craftsmanship that cannot be replicated at scale.

This way of working is not about being different for the sake of it. It is about honouring the artistry behind each pair, and ensuring that every client receives something that feels considered, personal, and lasting.

With its home in the UK and roots that extend to Hong Kong, SHE OFFICIEL Atelier is inherently multicultural—shaped by different perspectives, yet grounded in a shared appreciation for beauty, craftsmanship, and expression.

At its core, SHE OFFICIEL Atelier is about creating with intention. Each design carries a balance of timelessness, nostalgia, and a sense of play—shoes that are not only worn, but felt.
